Job description
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible for providing a variety of HR services to all departments. This position is a 12-month contract for parental leave coverage.

Responsibilities:
• Provide HR services to department managers / supervisors, including employee relations, coaching, training, and investigations
• Lead and participate in full-cycle recruitment activities in a growth environment
• Participate in the development and achievement of HR objectives
• Recommend and implement HR policies, programs and best practices
• Support the creation/maintenance of documents and databases
Skills and Knowledge:
• Minimum 3 years’ in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Graduate of post-secondary HR program
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, methods and legislation
• Intermediate English (verbal and written)
• Previous knowledge of Gmail and Google Documents
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of EI and professionalism
