As a leading designer and fabricator of retail store displays and fixtures
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Performs a variety of tasks
May lead and direct the work of others
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Responsible for an organization's safety programs
Helps develop, implement, monitor, and manage safety programs, policies, and procedures
Ensures the organization complies with all current safety regulations
Evaluates the organization's procedures, facilities and equipment to identify unsafe conditions that need improvement
Identifies and evaluates detrimental working conditions and makes adjustments to safeguard employee health
Researches and recommends safety equipment
Responsible for maintenance of safety and accident records
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Tracks employee headcounts weekly for reports to Plant Operations Manager and Production Manager for loading of manning table for production work
Administers temporary employee hiring through temporary employment agency, tracks termination of temporary employees, spreadsheets for performance and payroll
Runs ads in local newspapers and websites for hiring of employees and approves billing statements
Performs telephone interviews and sets up interviews for potential new hiring of staff
Tracks, administers and approves Paid Time Off, Family Medical Leave of employees, short- and long-term Butler disability claims
Responsible for Worker’s compensation OSHA log, employee injuries and follow up to providers, insurance companies, legal proceedings and regulatory analysis reporting to the government
Open enrollment at end of year, including employee meetings and training, evaluation of insurance plans with sister companies and audits
Administers tracks and updates spreadsheets for yearly employee performance reviews
Responsible for monthly safety committee meetings, safety training of employees, spreadsheet tracking
Follow up of training and suggestions for safer working environment and repairs of facility and equipment
Meets with OSHA inspectors, risk control insurance tours of facility, fire and sprinkler protection vendors
Aids Supervisors with company policies, procedures, and attendance tracking and employee disciplinary actions
Fiscal year-end inventory duties., bonded notary public for company

HR Generalist is responsible for several duties at Presence from Innovation (PFI), including providing support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development and training. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
