Numerator is looking for an exceptional Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This person will optimize and improve the employee experience, helping to create a more meaningful and satisfying work environment. The Human Resources Generalist will manage and support various employee focused programs, provide operational and administrative support, and be responsible for other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed. To ensure success, our HR Generalist should display strong interest in helping others, a ‘service first’ attitude and a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
• Builds relationships and collaborates across the company to understand and meet employee engagement needs while providing high levels of internal customer service.
• Represents HR on internal employee experience committees.
• Maintain positive rapport with community organizations for volunteer programs and opportunities.
• Partners with appropriate staff to schedule and deliver the best in class on-boarding experience for new hires, considering needs of different employee groups.
• Assists the Human Resources team with spreadsheets, correspondence, and other clerical support tasks as directed. Assists with updates of company/Human Resources policies and manuals.
• Ensures all employee experience activities are developed within company values.
• Researches and recommends updates/changes to company recognition and employee experience programs. To be able to plan, execute, and manages various employee surveys; administers survey platforms.
• Answers employee questions regarding policies and procedures, escalating questions/ issues to appropriate HR team members when necessary.
• Composes and edits other internal communication (i.e., general correspondence, miscellaneous memos, and special-project communication).
• Participates in or lead HR or cross-functional projects utilizing effective project management methodology.
• Responsible for various HRIS employee record keeping. Develops and runs various HRIS reports.
• Keep records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
• Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager. Skills & Requirements
• 3+ years or more of progressively responsible HR related experience.
• MBA/PGDM in Business, HR or equivalent degree (Preferred)
• Familiarity with local labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Prior experience with a HR practices in a global multi-location business is preferred.
• Project management skills including strong process skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate matrix organization.
• Proficient in Excel and competent in the use of HR related systems and tools.
• Ability to handle complex employee relations issues with discretion, serving as a mediator and guide to successful conflict resolution across all levels of the organization.
• Superior analytical skills with the ability to use data to create, develop and execute positive people strategies.
• Possess the ability to communicate successfully across the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Be a true hands-on doer who loves to execute on positive and impactful people programs.
• Excel at, and deeply enjoy, partnering with team members on executing programs and events.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multi-task assignments with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated PC skills including strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, GSuite).
• Demonstrated presentation skills. Ability to create electronic presentations and conduct effective group presentations.
• Proven experience with a variety of HR software solutions; keka experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Must possess high standards of personal integrity.
