The HR Generalist focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for both the business and its employees by developing, prioritising, and implementing HR initiatives and processes
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, this role collaborates closely with the company leadership team
Responsibilities encompass a range of areas including recruitment, compensation, benefits management, payroll, compliance, facilities, onboarding, employee relations, and policy formulation, all aligned with the company's global talent management strategies, culture, and values
Ensure HR processes and standards align with U.S. HR policies and strategic objectives
Foster and maintain strong working relationships between management and employees
Collaborate with business unit leaders to create high-performing teams through organizational design, recruitment, onboarding, and employee development
Support talent acquisition efforts and processes, including onboarding, integration, performance management, talent development, mobility, engagement, retention, and rewards, in line with corporate policies and tools
Maintain detailed reporting and knowledge of headcount metrics and costs, covering budgeted positions, hiring, and attrition
Oversee and ensure the correct application of U.S. labor laws and payroll procedures, and provide coaching to leadership on related topics
Contribute to the continuous enhancement and development of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies within the assigned market
Manage recruitment efforts, including interviewing and assisting in the selection of qualified candidates for open roles; collaborate with hiring managers to prepare job offers
Conduct proactive market research to support recruitment efforts
Address complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough, accurate investigations
Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Ensure that HR processes and procedures comply with legal requirements, minimizing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Offer guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and cross-disciplinary activities
Work closely with management and employees to enhance business relationships and operational efficiency
Provide interpretations of HR policies to both management and employees as needed
Develop employment terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers that align with company policies
Support, and occasionally lead, training and development initiatives within the organization
Participate in the assessment and monitoring of training programs to ensure their success
Ensure the effective implementation of the onboarding and integration plans for new employees, coordinating with different functional and organizational areas to streamline integration processes
Develop and update job descriptions and maintain organizational charts in line with the organizational structure
Evaluate organizational climate and other surveys, developing action plans accordingly
Monitor and analyze department KPIs, proposing meaningful actions based on the findings
Participate in and coordinate employee and team development projects and programs
Act as a champion of the company’s values and culture, promoting talent retention and reinforcing the company’s mission and values among employees
