ROLE OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leading F&B brand, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to spearhead human resources strategy and execution across their fast-growing organization.

This role is pivotal to scaling talent acquisition operations, modernizing workforce practices, and building a high-performance culture that attracts and retains top talent at every level.

You will be instrumental in transforming their people function while preserving core organizational values.

POSITION DETAILS:
• Role: HR Generalist – Talent Acquisition & Organizational Development
• Experience Required: 3 to 5+ years in the QSR industry
• Client’s Industry: Food & Beverage (F&B) | 30+ years in existence, 250+ crore in revenue
• Location: Bengaluru
• Travel Requirements: Some amount of travel may be required across the brand’s manufacturing facilities and retail outlets
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Arrangement: Work from Office (WFO)
• Working Days: Mon-Sat

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring
• Own the complete recruitment function for all open positions across the organization—from entry-level production and retail staff to senior office roles across the factories, retail outlets, and corporate offices
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and industry networks to ensure a steady pipeline of quality candidates
• Design recruitment strategies tailored to different roles and departments, ensuring both speed and quality in hiring
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, making data-driven hiring decisions aligned with organizational culture and requirements
• Implement efficient onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires
• Set and track recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, quality metrics, retention rates)

2. Career Development & Employee Growth
• Develop comprehensive career progression frameworks and growth trajectories for all job levels and departments across the client's factory, retail outlets, and corporate office
• Create individual development plans for both new joiners and long-tenured employees
• Identify high-potential employees and design succession plans for critical roles
• Facilitate skill development opportunities and mentorship programs to support career advancement
• Conduct regular performance reviews and career counseling sessions

3. Policy Development, Modernization & Implementation
• Review and audit existing HR policies across all operational levels (factory, retail outlets, corporate office) to ensure alignment with modern practices and compliance standards
• Formulate comprehensive, role-specific policies that cater to different employee segments (production staff, retail associates, office staff, leadership)
• Create clear, accessible communication materials to ensure all employees understand policies and procedures
• Lead organization-wide policy rollout and implementation, ensuring consistent application across all locations
• Regularly update policies to reflect industry best practices and evolving organizational needs

4. Employee Relations & Organizational Culture
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employees across all levels and locations (factory, retail outlets, corporate office)
• Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and grievances promptly
• Foster an inclusive, modern workplace culture that balances organizational legacy with contemporary best practices
• Champion employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment

5. Organizational Modernization & Employer Branding
• Transform the organization into an attractive, modern employer brand while respecting and preserving core organizational ethos
• Introduce contemporary HR practices and employee-centric policies that appeal to talent in a competitive market
• Benchmark against industry leaders in QSR/F&B to identify and implement best practices

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

a) Must-Haves:
• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in the QSR industry in an HR capacity
• Full-time bachelor's degree
• Strong understanding of QSR operational challenges, workforce diversity, and industry-specific HR practices
• Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment at scale

b) Nice-to-Haves:
• MBA in HR/Human Resources or related field
• Experience in policy formulation and HR compliance
• Familiarity with restaurant, food production, or retail operations
• Track record of modernizing legacy organizations or driving cultural transformation
