Job Summary:The HR Intern will assist the Human Resources department in performing a wide range of tasks related to talent acquisition, employee onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in HR functions within a professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:Assist in job posting on job boards and company websites.
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments.
Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
Maintain recruitment files and records.
Onboarding and Orientation:Assist in preparing new hire paperwork and materials.
Help coordinate employee orientations and training sessions.
Ensure new hires complete required forms and documents.
HR Administration:Maintain HR databases and employee records.
Assist in processing HR-related paperwork, including employment contracts, benefits forms, and termination documents.
Help with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Employee Relations:Assist in employee engagement initiatives.
Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive HR matters.
Compliance and Reporting:Assist in ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Assist in generating HR reports and analytics as needed.
Special Projects:Support HR team in various projects, such as employee surveys, policy updates, or diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Participate in HR meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced HR environment.
Duration and Compensation:
• This is typically an internship position with a specified duration, which may vary depending on the organization.
• Compensation may include a stipend, hourly wage, or other benefits, depending on the company's policies.
