Job Description
Location: Chennai
Responsibilities:
• HR Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the companys overall objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities, anticipate future needs, and develop plans to address them effectively.
• Talent Acquisition and Management:
• Lead the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.
• Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
• Develop and execute talent management initiatives, including performance management, employee development, and career planning.
• Employee Relations:
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance handling and disciplinary action as required.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, employment contracts, and internal policies.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Compensation and Benefits:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Performance Management:
• Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement strategies and career development opportunities.
• Identify and address performance gaps and develop appropriate training and development plans.
• HR Policies and Compliance:
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Employee Engagement and Communication:
• Foster a culture of open communication, employee engagement, and teamwork.
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and wellness programs.
• Communicate HR initiatives, policies, and changes effectively to employees.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or MBA is preferred.
• Proven work experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role in India.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience band: 1-3 yrs
