Job Description
Ideal candidate will solely be responsible for overseeing and manage day today functioning in the following areas
Industrial Relations, Statutory compliance, Local Liasioning, Business HR support, Administration and Security.
Roles & Responsibilities: The key accountability of this role include
1. Suggest and implement healthy, cordial and proactive employee relations at the plant.
2. Suggest and implement a strategy for negotiating long term agreements with Unions (If Union exists)
3. Suggest amendments & develop employee centric HR policies towards sustainable employee relations.
4. Effectively manage Contractual/ Casual/ Fixed Term workmen in line with the Labour Laws.
5. Support line managers on handling employee grievances and facilitate resolution of grievances with a view to ensuring industrial harmony and positive discipline.
6. Execute and facilitate disciplinary actions whenever required.
7. Facilitate implementation of employee/worker development programs and continuous improvement programs for employee involvement like 5S, TQM, group activities and other innovative HR practices.
8. Implementation of labour laws and adherence of statutory compliance at the premises.
+. Maintaining records & facilitate compliance audits pertaining to labour laws.
10. Manage labour related court/legal matters and actively interfacing with respective authorities.
11. Develop strategy for labour law litigations and facilitate settlement as per organisational expectations.
12. Effective implementation of approved Manpower planning including talent acquisition.
13. Drive the selection process through appropriate recruitment strategies.
14. Source, deploy and manage vendors to fulfill various HR & Admin related requirements.
15. Partner communication and actively participate in the implementation of employee engagement & change management initiatives.
16. Drive HR initiatives like Talent Management, performance management, reward & recognition, employee policies, training & development initiatives at the plant.
17. Effectively manage upkeep of organizational assets and infrastructure.
18. Effectively manage security of organizational assets and its people.
Qualification & Experience:
1. MBA - HR or MHRM (preferred)
2. 5+ years of experience into HR and industrial relations within manufacturing industry
