Job Description
Collaborate with DDW Dubai People Department on a regular basis to identify company engineering hiring needs and attract and source engineering candidates using various sources, like company career portal, external web portals, head-hunters, social media networks and employee referrals through DPW SSC TA & Onboarding. Further, visiting trade testing / interviewing venues across India, support bulk hiring of trade/technical positions for DDW Dubai.
Responsible for facilitating various human resource administrative services in coordination with DPW SSC India.
Responsibilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures:
• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Ensure employees are aware and follow the information Security Rules and data security measures to protect the company information / intellectual properties.
Day- to-day operations
Talent Acquisition:
• Establishes recruitment plans in conjunction with DDW Dubai People Department.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Builds applicant sources particularly for Engineering, EPC and support functions by researching and contacting employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
• Maintain applicant tracking database with necessary information.
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and conducting preliminary interviews with applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
• Arrange interviews for position in DDW India office and for DDW Dubai.
• Conduct bench marking surveys for various positions in conjunction with DDW People Department team.
• Travel frequently to trade testing centers (for bulk hiring), interviewing venues across India and being the focal point of contact for bulk hiring interviews and selection process.
• Ensure that manpower requisitions and staff movements are in accordance with the approved organization charts and staff establishment.
• Prepare monthly, weekly and ad-hoc reports (i.e. Weekly & Monthly Recruitment Activity Summary).
• Undertake special projects associated with recruitment or other HR functions as and when required.
• Assist in preparing Manpower Services Contracts, addendums for manpower suppliers, including special contracts.
Onboarding:
• Coordinate with both DP World and DDW Dubai People Department and obtain all the recruitment documents of the selected candidates to expedite the post-employment process.
• Ensure that the necessary documentation of the selected candidates is created and filed before their joining.
• Arrange for the mobilization tickets, Hotel Accommodation and relocation arrangement for the selected candidates in coordination with both DP World and DDW Dubai People Department
• Welcome new employees' upon their arrival and ensure that they are fully ramped up as quickly and effectively, and feel part of the team.
• Induct the new joiners on HR policies and procedures on their joining and ensure collecting all the required documents.
• Gather and process necessary paperwork, such as employment contracts, conflict of interest and other relevant documents and ensure that all the formalities are completed and prepare their file in order to keep all the documents in order.
• Ensure new employees with necessary technical assistance to properly set up their workspace in liaison with respective department management.
• Confirming on salary commencements & amendments with appropriate request and approvals and ensuring the same to be communicated to the SCO DPW People Department team.
Employee relations:
• Arrange for the the exit procedure when an employee leaves in coordination with DP World SSC
• Responsible for facilitating employee relations and convey employee related issues by case briefing to the DDW Dubai People Department.
• Oversee poor performance management system and make recommendation for management review and for taking further actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Responsible to comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls and to behave in a manner, which ensures that their actions or omissions, do not adversely affect the environment, health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, colleagues, contractors, or members of the public.
• Meeting all responsibilities as outlined in the DDW OHSMS
• Participating in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the Company
• Complying with all Safety directives, and work instructions
• Immediately reporting any incident or potential hazard to their supervisor or Safety Dept
• STOP the task if you feel yourself or others may be harmed
• Ensuring that all work is properly planned, communicated, and executed safely
• Advise workers on potential Health and Safety hazards and their controls
• Conducting regular inspections of work areas to identify and eliminate hazardous conditions and practices
• Reporting to Line Manager / Safety Inspector promptly regarding incidents, hazards, unsafe plant, equipment, or other safety concerns
• STOP any worker performing an unsafe act and reinforce positive attitude amongst work force
Related Assignments:
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the department
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or Similar Qualification
• 5 - 7 years' relevant experience in Human Resource function from the reputed Engineering companies in India
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
• Possess good knowledge of interviewing skills & hiring techniques.
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
• Excellent knowledge of full recruitment cycle.
• Developing talent benchmarking/talent assessment
• Good knowledge of Oil & Gas / Offshore industry and related local & overseas companies.
• Proven experience in sourcing candidates for Engineering, Procurement & Commercial positions in Oil & Gas / Offshore industry.
• Knowledge of local labour and employee hiring legislations.
• Computer literate with experience in MS Office applications.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
