About The Job

Are you passionate about talent acquisition and ready to make a real impact in a dynamic, international environment? We’re looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Officer to join our global HR team, based in our UK office in Malvern.

Your primary focus will be on talent acquisition and ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience for all new colleagues.

In addition, you will provide general administrative support to help the office run smoothly and contribute to the continuous improvement of daily operations.

As the local eyes and ears on the ground, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner EMEA North to ensure efficient and effective HR support across our UK offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

Talent Acquisition (75%):
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and extending final offers
• Coordinate local onboarding activities and ensure a warm and well-organized first day experience for new hires
• Conduct orientation sessions, facilitate onboarding, and maintain accurate records for all new employees

General HR-administration (15%):
• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and provide timely assistance
• Maintain accurate personnel records (data, payroll, personal data, offboarding details, etc.)
• Prepare and submit reports on general HR activity
• Assist with ad-hoc HR projects, such as gathering employee feedback
• Provide support to the broader HR team as needed

Office & Fleet Support 10%):
• Collaborate internationally with our fleet manager to support vehicle management for the UK offices
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office by handling various ad-hoc tasks as they arise

Your skills and interest
• Talent Acquisition holds no secrets for you – You thrive on sourcing and hunting for the perfect candidates
• You’re a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling smooth collaboration with other departments (hiring managers, HR BP, Fleet Manager and others). As such, you possess excellent communication skills
• You bring broad knowledge of Human Resources and are comfortable handling general administrative responsibilities

What else is expected:
• Proven Experience as an Recruiter or in a similar HR/administrative role
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse, is an advantage
• Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems is a plus

What we offer

We would like to welcome you to an international and multicultural company that has been operating for over 30 years and is doubling in size every 5 years. Growth is our middle name, while we strongly adhere to our horizontal and open company culture.

You're in the drivers' seat of your own career, that's our motto. Your personal development is therefore paramount. During an extensive onboarding program of six months, we make you, with the support of your job coach, familiar with our product and the organization. Even after this period, you will continue to get opportunities to learn and develop yourself further. You’re never alone.

At Sofico you will also work in a modern state-of-the-art office that is easily accessible.

In return for your efforts, we offer an extensive salary package, including a company car, a bonus system, and a pension plan. The flexible office hours and opportunities to work from home up to 2 days per week provide the necessary flexibility within the company.

At Sofico we are strong believers in the power of a good cup of coffee. Water or soft drinks are of course also on the menu. We love our team events. Think after-work drinks, a BBQ, a family day, a company weekend, or a walking dinner with the whole company.
