About the Role
As the HR Officer you’ll play a crucial role in the HR Operations Team at HBF, working as a trusted adviser to the business. Based in our modern CBD office, you will provide HR generalist support to HBF people leaders and employees, ensuring that the business is supported efficiently within a customer-centric service. On a day to day basis your key responsibilities will include;
Managing in HR inbox, employee files and employee queries
Processing employment changes and updates
Providing advice on industrial relations matters
Participating various projects and improvements within the People & Corporate Affairs Team
About You
You are a strong communicator with influencing skills which you use to ensure you provide timely and up to date information to support to leaders and employees. With a keen attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills, you are proactive in finding solutions while looking for efficiencies.
You may be early in your HR career and eager to learn within a small, experienced team or have several years’ experience in a similar role and be ready to hit to the ground running.
Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations qualification or progression towards
Previous experience in a supporting role within a HR function
Approachable and collaborative team player with strong customer service skills
