Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Operations Specialist to join their Human Resources department in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, IN . This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR processes, including onboarding, employee data management, payroll support, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. You will be responsible for managing HR information systems (HRIS), generating HR reports, and supporting HR initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees, ensuring a seamless experience. Provide support for payroll processing, including data verification and coordination with the payroll team. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Generate regular HR reports on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and compensation. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Organize and coordinate HR-related events and training sessions. Identify opportunities to improve HR operational efficiency and employee experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist HR roles. Proficiency in HRIS platforms and HR software. Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Experience in payroll support and benefits administration is highly desirable.
