About Company:Praan is a VC-funded deep-tech startup based out of San Francisco & Mumbai (also setting up an office in Bangalore). Last summer, we had +0 interns from 70 cities around the world participate in our remote intern program - many of whom were onboarded as full-time employees or got into preferred jobs/grad schools of their choice. Praan builds the world's most advanced large space air purification systems with applications across industries. We are fortunate to have recently raised a round of funding from Peter Thiel and Marc Anddressen-backed Social Impact Capital, with participation from Better Capital, Aera VC, Paradigm Shift Capital, Avaana Capital, Sequoia Scouts, and other angels around the world. We are proud to manufacture our products in India.About the Internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Work directly with our founder's vision to understand the global talent requirements and accordingly formulate a strategic priority-based hiring plan & work alongside all engineering and design teams to understand human resources requirements2. Design and build college recruiting collaborations on behalf of the company3. Understand skill requirements and expectations for each open position, find, and reach out to engage with prospective candidates4. Sort through high-volume resumes for short-listing candidates for interviews5. Manage both active and passive candidate funnels and drive referrals6. Conduct behavioral interviews through phone/video to pass candidates for technical interviews as per the company procedures7. Track applicant progress and schedule each stage of the interview with appropriate team members to expedite closure8. Coordinate and plan on-site final stage interviews+. Ensure successful closure and conduct orientation and onboarding sessions with applicants10. Work alongside the existing team to build their online presence11. Help to organize and plan team-building activities12.
