In this role the HRBP for Engineering – India will report to Regional Sr. HRBP for Engineering in India.
Role:
Job holder’s missions will be:
• Ensuring the implementation and application of HR policies and processes within their business area; being the primary interface for HR in the business,
• Bringing Human Resources related aspects to the strategic planning of the partner organisation and its day to day operations; including giving advice on the people related aspects of management decisions. You will be the voice of HR within the business,
• Evaluating people related business needs and feeding these needs to the other HR departments for translation into appropriate HR policies, processes and tools. You thus will act as the voice of the business within HR.
• Working as Center of Competence (CoC) for Employee Engagement and will be responsible for Boosting the engagement levels for employees at Airbus in India.
• Provide clarity and consulting to business units on Performance and Development topics
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The accountability of the jobholder in this role is to:
• Challenging the business to ensure compliance with company strategy and policies & driving the HR annual cycle of annual interview, salary review etc. within the partner business sector
• Ensuring the business units understand the Pulse philosophy and support the implementation of Pulse
• Fully deploying people tempo in their perimeter,
• Driving people development through both direct action and coaching managers to develop their people and themselves & Coaching and encouraging managers to take action to create and maintain an engaging environment within the partner business sector,
• Being the catalyst to drive mobility through knowing the people ready to move and networking for potential opportunities
• Deploying training for the partnering organisation including local allocated training budget management,
• Supporting management teams in managing change, particularly bringing focus to the human aspects of change, with the support of Leadership & Culture Change,
• Ensuring the application of consequential management in collaboration with the HR legal and L&C department. You will also contribute to a good social climate and constructive dialogue with the Social Partners.
• Monitoring and leading yearly performance assessment for the team responsible as HRBP
• Monitoring and further development of reference jobs catalogue and "tariff promotion" process
• Champion various engagement activities at Airbus level
• Support the engagement plan for Airbus India level and get the same delivered for each client group.
• Plan the focus areas and drive engagement and control attrition
• Work directly with Engineering and HR India leadership team on engagement activities
Required skills
With a degree in Human Resource Management / Business, candidate should have developed a significant experience in different HR functions preferably in an international environment with transnational projects specifically in HRBP and Employee engagement areas.
To succeed in this position, you also must have the following knowledge and skills:
• Good knowledge of the HR processes/philosophy
• Generalist HR knowledge with strong change and strategic competencies
• Coaching/business partner and influencing skills
• A highly pro-active mindset, the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to managers
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities in a transnational environment
• Ability to challenge and push back in an appropriate manner, and to influence senior management
• 5+ years of relevant experience
