Job Description
This role is responsible for –
Monitoring, Coordinating and executing all aspects of HR, in a particular geography and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of HR services, policies and programs in line with the Spencer’s Retail’s HR philosophy and strategy.
B. JOB DESCRIPTION: SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES / DELIVERABLES
FINANCIAL
To adhere to allocated budget for execution of HR functions.
Achieve budgeted timelines for HR processes
OPERATIONAL : Internal Business Processes
To create a central database of strategic recruitment sources for different levels and functions in the region.- Assistive activity for corporate TA department
To ensure timely & efficient achievement of recruitment targets for the respective region.
To ensure smooth integration of new recruits into the organization through well planned and effective induction programs.
To coordinate with Business HR at the Head office for implementing talent development & talent engagement policies.
To ensure HR technology is implemented and grievances for HR delivery are timely addressed.
To ensure timely delivery of different training programs for the respective region.
To ensure timely payment of salary and other reimbursements to employees in the respective region.
To maintain a friendly work environment and achieve high employee engagement levels within the geography.
To ensure compliance to labour related statutory regulations.
PEOPLE
To ensure smooth induction & familiarization of team members with the business environment.
To set performance evaluation parameters for each team member in line with the organizational objectives & ensure periodic review and feedback on the same.
To clearly communicate all policies and procedures to each team member.
CUSTOMER
To ensure holistic HR support to all employees in the respective region.
To liaise with the central HR team in effective implementation of all HR systems and procedures.
To build and maintain relationships with local government bodies and recruitment sources.
