Summary of Position:
Alcon is looking to hire a HRIS Technical Specialist – Compensation to join our Human Resources Information Systems Administration and Reporting team at Bangalore in India. Human Resources Information Systems Administration & Reporting (HRIS) work focuses on vendor selection, configuring, maintaining, and generating reports for an HR information system including:
•Processing employee information and maintaining employee records in the HRIS
•Preparing statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS involving skills, pay grade, performance data, payroll information, and other employee records
•Ensuring the accuracy of HR information entered into the system and testing new features of the system as they are implemented to verify accuracy of HR procedures
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to optimize Workday Comp/Advanced Comp system design and configuration and processes
• Partner with various Functional Leads and teams to optimize design and configure the Workday Recruitment system ensuring efficiency, consistency and accuracy of Human Resources data and processes
• Resolve the functional issues and support day-to-day Business as Usual items
• Prepare and maintain Workday user documentation
• Serve as a first line resource on Global support to troubleshoot issues with Workday processes, integrations, notifications & security
• Participate in analysis and deployment of semi-annual Workday releases
• Responsible for regular analysis of new Workday features in their area of responsibility
• Work in a global environment and prioritizing urgent requirements
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Professional (5+ years) related HRIS work experience with minimum 3+ years' experience on Workday Recruiting
• Depth of knowledge in Workday's core architecture including business process framework, security, and reporting Experience across multiple functional areas is desired
• Experience implementing Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation configurations for customers of all sizes
• Strong presentation skills and data translation to respective stakeholders
Shift Timings: 12PM to +PM with slight flexibility
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Workday certification is a Plus
• Exposure to Agile and Traditional SDLC methodologies
• Knowledge of ticket tool system (Service Now & Jira are desirable) to prioritize & manage service request
