Job Description

Ensure site compliance with HSE and ICPE legal requirements and maintain international regulatory monitoring and regular exchanges with administrative authorities;
Be the companys contact for the administrative authorities responsible for environmental, health and safety at work (DREAL, DDPP, DIRECCTE, CRAM, occupational physician) as well as HSE managers of the DANAHER group;
o Guarantee the safety management of construction sites with the external companies and/or services concerned (Maintenance, R&D, Production, etc);
o Update the companys single document according to regulatory requirements
o Ensure the implementation of legal metrology (Noise, Pollutant release controls, exposure controls);
o Ensure compliance of import/export documents
o Participate to Work, Safety and Health conditions meetings
o Training on work authorization documents (prevention plans, fire permits, security protocols, confined space entry permits, etc.);
o Ensure the effectiveness and updating of emergency procedures and the business continuity plan, including the organization of exercises;
o Participate in regulatory inspections or internal and external audits
Deploy HSE policy of the OpCo
o Benchmark, perform site audits and other DHR OpCos. Apply innovative solutions to EHS issues at the site.
o Create a network with the EHS managers of the DHR OpCo (in particular of the other India sites) to boost the EHS actions of the site.
o Become the referent (certified practitioner) on the DBS tools related to the EHS theme (4E in particular). Train and deploy the 4E tool on site through kaizen events.
o Develop an action plan to apply to Danahers best EHS program to be recognized as an EHS site of excellence.
o Participate in the sites Kaizen events to ensure compliance with Danahers safety rules and India regulations.
o Travel to other countries (2-3 times/year) and outside (~1 time/year)
o Create and deliver staff training on HSE topics using DBS
o Conduct investigations following an incident/accident leading to action plans;
o Follow up on the various HSE action plans related to improvement points (audits, accidents or incidents);
o Lead occupational risk assessments to propose improvement solutions;
o Transversally Manager and energize a team of Security Delegates;
