Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our Talent Management team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for a junior or senior student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. The intern will assist with a variety of talent management programs and leadership projects, focusing on developing programs, collateral, and communications that enhance our developmental culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of talent management programs and initiatives.
• Support the creation of training materials, presentations, and other collateral to promote development programs.
• Contribute to the planning and coordination of workshops, seminars, and other employee development events.
• Assist in drafting communications and marketing materials to promote talent management initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement and development.
• Conduct research on best practices in talent management and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in meetings and provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; junior or senior status preferred.
• Strong interest in talent management and employee development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

The hourly range for this role is $25.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

The Executive Assistant for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing administrative support to the multiple executives including projects, complex calendar management, and domestic/international travel.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Complete a variety of administrative tasks for multiple executives, including managing extremely active calendars; completing expense reports and purchase orders; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel domestically and internationally, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
• Lead the immersion planning process for all executive level onboarding, which includes identifying, scheduling, planning and executing a variety of meetings, trainings and other various critical activities, that ensures the successful integration of executives.
• Provide a bridge for smooth communication between executives and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
• Communicate directly and as needed on behalf of the executives.
• Manage and coordinate events and executive meetings, from recurring staff meetings, internal/external customer groups and other meetings as needed. Provides project management, budget management, logistics, IT coordination, and all other support required for these various events and meetings.

The essential requirements of the job include:
• High School degree or equivalent with 5+ years senior executive level administrative experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications including PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Teams and Excel (ability to build pivot tables and other useful reporting analytics upon request)

• Associate’s degree or higher

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
