This position will be based in our Waymouth Street office. This is a hybrid position giving you the flexibility to work from home and the office.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, the HR Business Partner plays a critical role as a strategic advisor to dedicated internal groups. You will provide business-focused strategic and operational HR advice for our people via strong strategic partnerships and relationships.
As a strategic partner, the HRBP will assist Beyond Bank Australia leaders and employees with issues pertaining to employment attraction and retention, application and development of HR policies and practices, workforce planning, succession planning, engagement and culture initiatives, performance management and development.
Having a deep understanding of your respective internal client groups operations you will be able to provide guidance and support to assist managers to develop and align people strategy that reflects the business objectives consistent with the national strategic People and Culture Vision.
The HR Business Partner has a specific role to support leaders in managing and developing employees and teams as well as coaching and providing feedback to leaders to support their overall effectiveness.
About you
You enjoy getting involved in a variety HR tasks and you can work with limited supervision. To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:
Tertiary qualification is desirable. You will have experience working in a strategic HR partner capacity and be a champion for People & Culture, preferably with at least 3 years of HR Advisory/Business Partnering experience.
You will be an outstanding communicator (both written and verbal) and you will be adept at consulting and influencing a broad range of stakeholders to successfully influence them on key change initiatives.
Strong interpersonal, coaching, communication, negotiation, and consultative skills at all levels are required with a generalist understanding of HR legislation, risk, and compliance issues.
Provide support, guidance, and direction to employees in seeking HR support and/or directing them to the appropriate team members
