Job Description
• Manage smooth onboarding of new joinees, including introduction to respective managers and establishing connect with employees. Post onboarding support and query resolution for all HR related matters.
• Schedule employee connect meetings with leadership team and maintain the records with proper closure from respective stakeholders through follow ups.
• Develop strong employee connect through regular 1x1, team & manager meetings
• Provide necessary business relevant information to managers and leadership to help take correct management decisions
• Keeping records and manage timely confirmation, probation extensions for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
• Effectively assist in training needs for business units and encourage the managers for the participation. Follow ups with L&D department & business units to ensure training objectives are timely met.
• Maintain the tracker for employee findings and concerns and its closure.
• Co-ordinate for Reward & Recognition program & new initiatives taken at organization level.
• Effectively drive the timely completion of IJP & KRA allocations for employees.
• Managing low performers and effectively initiating and monitoring performance improvement plans
• Manage exits effectively along with conducting exit interviews and sharing key findings for betterment of organization culture/processes etc.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team for ensuring the right fitment into business
• Handle all employee relations/ grievance management activities. Nurture a positive work environment.
• Analyze and interpret employee Management Information and develop effective action plans with business units and management teams to help them address productivity, diversity, retention, and performance issues and ultimately to help them meet their commercial objectives
• Assist in the management of the annual performance management cycle and associated processes, including Succession Planning
• Reinforce the importance of continuous management, including objective setting, giving and receiving feedback, and personal development.
• Assist in delivering the annual reward processes (including salary review, Incentive Plan management and recognition awards) for designated divisions in support of a fair and equitable approach which motivates and rewards employees in line with current reward strategy.
• Support the internal Headcount management process, by providing timely and regular advice and guidance in relation to organizational headcount forecasts and associated budget. Propose innovative solutions to build productivity with existing and new resources.
• Assist the Manager-HRBP with the development and implementation of the HR strategy, supporting Sakon corporate objectives, by adopting an enabling approach and ethos within specified areas of responsibility. Take ownership of the HR agenda for those areas and act with a significant degree of autonomy.
• Additionally, be responsible for all HR activities and work closely with the leads of other HR functions within India to ensure seamless execution of activities
• Work supportively with colleagues, always operating in a collegiate manner and in line with the Company’s values.
• Other HR projects that may come up during the service of the employee.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Skills:
• Broad experience of organizational change development design initiatives, including implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office - experience of some HRMS is desirable
• Experience of dealing with employee issues within a large/ medium sized organization
• Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience of providing HR support across organization would be an advantage
• Effective consulting skills, with the ability to influence at a mid-management level
• Presentation/training delivery ability – on a 1-to-few and 1-to-many basis.
• Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships
• Flexibility to deal with any HR issue irrespective of business or location
• Ability to effectively manage issues with high ambiguity and coProfessional approach with a proactive ‘can do’ attitudemplexity
