Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including conducting orientations and facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork.
2. HR Operations:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final settlements.
3. Performance Management:
- Assist in developing and implementing performance management systems and processes.
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, ensuring timely completion and providing support to managers and employees.
- Facilitate performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions, as necessary.
4. Employee Engagement and Development:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
5. HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate HR reports and metrics to provide insights on key HR indicators.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Support management in making data-driven decisions related to HR strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Executive or similar role, preferably in a startup or Edtech company.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment processes and conducting interviews.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment.
