Position Overview
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Intern to support our People & Culture team. You’ll work closely with HR professionals to drive key initiatives, streamline processes, and gain exposure to the strategic and operational side of HR.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
Post job openings on career portals and social media
Screen resumes and schedule candidate interviews
Assist in conducting phone/video prescreens
Onboarding & Offboarding
Prepare and organize new-hire documentation
Coordinate orientation sessions and training schedules
Process exit checklists and conduct exit interviews
HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS
Generate routine HR reports (headcount, attrition, training)
Assist with benefits enrollment processes
Employee Engagement
Help plan and execute team-building events
Collect and analyze feedback from employee surveys
Policy & Compliance
Research best practices and draft/update HR policies
Ensure documentation aligns with local labor laws
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Desired Skills & Attributes
A high degree of initiative and willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Basic understanding of HR principles and employment legislation
Familiarity with any HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) is a plus
