Human Resources Manager (Cleaning, Maintenance & Construction)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to be part of a team and work together on all aspects of human resources and recruitment across our cleaning, maintenance, and construction divisions. This is a unique opportunity to work in a values-driven organisation where your contributions will have a direct impact on people, communities, and the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and engaged workforce.
HR functions, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with relevant awards and legislation.
Provide professional HR advice and support to operational managers across cleaning, maintenance, and construction.
Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with our values of respect, inclusion, and cultural awareness.
Work proactively to support the career development of Indigenous employees and promote opportunities for advancement.
Ensure compliance with the Industry Services Award and other relevant employment legislation.
Partner with senior manager to implement strategic HR initiatives that support business growth and employee engagement.
About You:

Previous HR management experience, ideally within industries such as cleaning, maintenance, construction, or related sectors ( preferred and will be highly considered )
A strong background in recruitment with a proven ability to attract and retain talent.
Passionate about supporting Indigenous employment and community outcomes.
Excellent knowledge of Australian workplace laws, awards, and best practice HR principles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
