Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, legal agreements, performance management, and other general HR responsibilities, preferably within the IT industry with some US experience.
You will be responsible for supporting HR operations in India and the US and contributing to building a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment process, sourcing, screening, interviews, background verification, and onboarding.
• Employee Relations: Address employee queries, ensuring compliance with HR policies and benefits.
• Performance Management: Support appraisals and implement performance improvement plans.
• Agreements & Compliance: Draft/review employment contracts and ensure legal compliances related to HR functions.
• Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, statutory and tax compliance, and coordination with finance.
• HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and company policies. Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements.
• Leave & Attendance Management: Monitor employee attendance and leave record, maintain accurate records and ensure policy adherence.
• Training & Development: Organize training sessions and development initiatives for employees.
• HR Reporting: Generate reports on HR metrics, including recruitment, turnover, and other key HR data.
• Exit Process: Handle offboarding, exit interviews, and final settlements.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Prefer some US experience but can be trained.
• Technical Skills & Knowledge: Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address employee concerns and resolve conflicts with professionalism and understanding.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification in HR or related fields (e.g., SHRM, CHRP, or similar) is a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in HR Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of basic legal terms and conditions related to employment agreements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the IT consulting industry.
• Useful to have some experience working with US clients.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
