About the Role
Are you an energetic HR professional looking to make an impact? VSL Australia is excited to welcome a HR Advisor to our dynamic Human Resources team based in a vibrant Macquarie Park office. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and working closely with our HR Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations, driving key initiatives and supporting our fantastic team.
In this role, you’ll own the employee lifecycle from start to finish—recruitment, on boarding, development, and beyond. You’ll also be the go-to person for HR administration, ensuring everything runs smoothly. But that’s not all! You’ll have the chance to lead exciting projects like Gender Diversity and University Relations, making a real difference in our workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Take charge of the entire employee lifecycle, from pre-employment screenings to exit processes.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in HRIS data entry (currently Preceda, before we move to a new platform in 2026) and manage IT setup for new starters.
Support and lead key HR projects that align with our strategic goals.
Champion Gender Diversity by creating and driving initiatives to exceed our targets.
Create, build and maintain strong relationships with partner universities to support talent pipelines.
What You Will Bring
At least 1 year of experience in an HR Advisory role.
Strong expertise in managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
Solid HR administration skills with experience in HRIS systems.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to excellence in HR service delivery.
Exceptional organisational skills with a talent for prioritisation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
