Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer based in Worcestershire supplying to major retailers. Due to a period of exciting growth, they are looking to appoint a HR Advisor to work closely with the HR Manager and wider function to improve existing processes and reinforce company culture. On offer: Salary is circa £40,000 25 days holiday+ bank holidays Company pension Working Mon - Fri The role: Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will support the HR function in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle and will work with autonomy on internal matters and projects. The successful candidate is tasked with the responsibility of establishing strong relationships with staff across all levels of seniority, immersing themselves in daily operations, identifying areas of HR process improvement and carrying out ad hoc project work. They will also be the go to for staff and line managers to advise on internal matters. The key responsibilities of the role include: Act as a first point of contact for colleagues seeking advice Manage staff grievances, absences and disciplinaries Streamline existing HR process and procedures Establish strong relationships with both permanent and agency workers Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to resignation Candidate requirements: The business is looking for an individual who has experience within the food industry. They are also willing to consider candidates from a manufacturing background. You must be a strong communicator, able to work in a fast paced environment, and able to manage a varied workload.
