HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT - MOBILITY

We seek an experienced human resources professional in our Pune, India office. The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting the global mobility/immigration initiatives for our international workforce, including employment-based work authorization, business travel visas, and other work permits. This position reports to a senior human resources leader and works in coordination with a mobility team located in various ZS offices across the globe.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a member of the global mobility team, and work closely with our global team members to improve current processes and communication
• Work with the internal Travel team to develop a high level of customer service and a support model for business travelers, international assignees inbound or outbound, etc.
• Create and process immigration and employment letters for employee travel requirements as well as ad-hoc requests
• Process employment-related documentation when requested for ZSers traveling internationally
• Maintain a tracking log of current immigration cases to monitor progress to prevent potential gaps of employment or termination due to insufficient work authorization
• Help support the team with education and briefing sessions on visa stamping, consulate appointments, and travel to ensure employee readiness
• Interact with outside immigration counsel and other vendors regarding paperwork, postings, and filing requirements, as required
• Communicate clearly to ensure we provide a high level of service and consultation to all immigration inquiries regarding status updates to employees and their project teams
• Utilize and maintain immigration documentation, metrics, and reports in a variety of software applications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, candidates with interest in immigration and human resources preferred;
• 1 - 3 years of professional experience, preferably in human resources or an immigration-related role involving international business visas and employment-based non-immigrant processes, ideally in a multi-national professional services environment;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Strong attention to detail and good time management skills;
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work and communicate with multiple levels of the organization and a global team;
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented culture, but with a large degree of autonomy
• Strong work ethic and initiative;
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment;
• Experience working in a role that requires a high degree of confidentiality and/or dealing with sensitive information;
