Job Description
The HRBP role is the main point of contact for all daily HR needs by promoting employee engagement through regular, personal contact with employees resulting in a positive employee relations atmosphere. Duties include shaping, managing, implementing and integrating HR programs for various teams across the company in support of organizational objectives. This includes developing strong business relationships with employees and managers across the organization.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HR program facilitation, employee relations/conflict resolution, training, onboarding/offboarding, policy implementation, employment support, and employment law compliance delivery of HR annual processes (annual/mid-year review, employee engagement survey), rewards program and employee advocacy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Administers various human resource plans and procedures for personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains regional employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
· Participates in deploying and maintaining department goals, objectives and systems.
· Build management capability to facilitate an open, inclusive, environment that enables effective employee relations.
· In alignment with the global process administer the annual merit and bonus program; monitors the performance evaluation program, supports quality and timely completion with managers, and mentorship with employees.
· Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
· Develops and maintains regional compliance, i.e.; government reporting and other required compliance requirements.
· Leads the implementation of HR programs and education to managers and employees.
· Supports the recruitment efforts; collaborates with Regional Talent Acquisition Specialists on the manager intake meetings, supports writing job descriptions, ensures hires are in alignment with company and department career architecture and compensation strategy.
· Organizes and facilitates new-employee orientation; maintains alignment with global strategy while providing a meaningful onboarding for all new hires.
· Supports and handles employee relations counseling with assigned client group
· Hosts 30/60/+0 day check-ins, facilitate and maintain cadence of HR, MD, VPs various touch points and exit interviews
· Assists recommending new approaches, vendors, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
· Maintains human resource data, partners with local payroll departments to ensure payroll changes are processed accurately and manages regional reports from the HRIS to support business needs.
· Write and maintain offer documents, increments, and exit documents
· Write employee / candidate facing communications
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
· Travel as per business needs to stay connected with all personnel
EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree HR, Communications, or relevant field
· 8+ year human resource experience, 2+ leading employee relations.
KNOWLEDGE
· SME of general human resources policies and procedures
· Facilitation of trainings and/or public speaking
· Business savvy with the ability to discuss business matters and organizational requirements
· Globally aligned in process, strategy, and guidance to managers
· Ability to strategically align business needs, team dynamics and company requirements
