Job Description
Supporting resourcing activities inclusive of scheduling interviews, arranging medical checks, reference checking, internal and external advertising, supporting talent acquisition and managers in shortlisting resumes.
Prepare and process HR documentation, including employment contracts, letters, group communications and HR reports.
Assist with facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Assist the Group HR Manager with performance management or misconduct matters including scheduling meetings, preparing supporting materials and paperwork, etc.
Participate in investigations and contribute to the resolution of employee relations issues through providing advice to both employees and managers.
Assist Group WH&S Manager with ad-hoc tasks including contractor management and induction, staff footwear reimbursements and the Employee Wellbeing Program.
Assist with staff engagement activities and initiatives.
Maintain HR data and information on employee files and HRIS.
About you:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management preferred).
Experience in dealing with a broad range of ER matters including conflict resolution, grievances and complaints, performance management.
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Sound knowledge of employment laws, modern awards and fair work regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling sensitive information.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proactive and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Desirable criteria:
Experience working with a HRIS (Chris21 preferred).
Experience within the hospitality industry (preferred).
Ability to work part time (days and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview).
Working from home arrangements are currently not available for this role.
