Part of a larger US based entity, headquartered in Mumbai, they have been in the business for almost 20 years with operations in Bengaluru & Delhi as well.
Designation: HR Generalist
Reporting directly to the CMD
Role:
Individual contributor role: As an HR generalist, you will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to on boarding and from employee compensation to evaluation.
Important: Candidates who are currently spending 50% of their time in recruitment/talent acquisition may apply for this role. This involves screening applications and conducting interviews. You'd be also expected to have a basic understanding of statutory compliance.
Work type: Hybrid (2 days WFO, sometimes 3 days based on business requirements)
Working days: Mon to Fri
Location: Fort, Mumbai (only candidates within Mumbai are encouraged to apply)
Qualification:
Graduate with 5 years of successful Experience in generalist roles preferably in the services / education / consulting industry.
Education:
PGD / Master’s degree Human Resources or relevant field (Essential),Additional HR training will be a plus.
Job Overview:
• Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.
• You will be responsible to support the business in navigating change through effective OD interventions
• You will be responsible to facilitate organization effectiveness by continuously assessing competence, instilling commitment and building a vibrant culture
• You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and crafting HR policies.
Responsibilities:
• Consult with Leadership team and provide daily HR guidance.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings.
• Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
• Create Onboarding plans for new hires, conduct employee onboarding, and coordinate employee development plans
• Develop and execute engagement strategy that will enhance retention
What we are looking for in a candidate (apply only if you meet the below requirements):
• You have been into recruitment for at least 5 years and you are currently doing recruitment, right from screening and conducting interviews to on boarding
• You can execute quick calculations for increment of a CTC structure
• You have an understanding of payroll software's & worked on HRMS tools
• An understanding of Learning & Development is beneficial to succeed in this role
• You enjoy spending at least 40-50% of your time in recruitment
• Good knowledge of employment labour laws/statutory compliance
• You have experience in handling contracts for off roll employees & on the rolls employees
• Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software
• You have excellent written and fluent verbal communication skills in English only
