Position Overview:

We are seeking a high caliber human resource professional to join our global team based in Mumbai. This position will contribute to the performance of EC-Council business by handling HR operations and partnering with business managers to enable them to effectively lead, motivate and develop their teams. As a member of the global HR team, this role fosters and supports a positive, employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee engagement and performance success.

The HR team is uniquely positioned as a partner to our employees and businesses to co-create and develop relationships strategically focused on both people and business goals. We understand the evolving needs of the business. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Generalist will support the team's effectiveness, be capable of challenging convention, and thinking critically through data-driven strategies.

Key responsibilities are:
• Provide front line support to employees and managers for India and the UK offices covering all aspects of the employee life cycle including onboarding, offboarding and career-change activities, in accordance with statutory requirements

• Support analytics to measure the effectiveness of human capital practices and use this information in decision-making.

• Answering HR inquiries, HR related administration, advising the employee on benefits, updating relevant HR systems and liaising with internal departments when applicable.

• Work closely with leaders to implement People initiatives that support the needs of the business unit, as well as company-wide activities.

• Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently and equitably applied, legal requirements are met, and that a positive employee relations climate is developed and maintained.

• Review and provide supporting documentation to Payroll team to process payroll and social insurances. Answer any related queries in the process.

• Timely and accurate transaction entry and maintenance of the employee database, and efficient execution of all human resources administrative tasks including contracts of employment, salary increase letters, confirmation letters, and staff records, including regular reporting.

• Timely tracking and management of contract expiry, probationary periods, and absence management such as parental leaves, earned/vacation leaves, etc., in accordance with statutory requirements.

• Coach managers and employees through performance management and employee relations issues to ensure compliance of current Company policies while strengthening their skills and confidence among others.

• Assist to develop and implement talent development initiatives for managers and employees.

• Administer and manage relocation, compensation and benefits policies in collaboration with the relevant teams.

• Participate in the creation and upholding of best practice human resource policies, practices and systems which help attract, retain and mobilize high quality employees, support business priorities and promote competitive advantage.

• Be a passionate employee engagement and company culture champion; and facilitate team events/trainings as needed.

Required skills, experience and qualifications are:
• 5 years or more experience in a similar position.

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, or relevant field.

• Knowledge of India labor laws.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and a strong attention to detail.

• Knowledge of operating HR systems, Microsoft 365 Office, MS Word and Excel.

• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, team player and critical thinker.

• Experienced in working in a global and fast paced company with a dynamic, multicultural atmosphere.
