Key Responsibilities
• Process bi-monthly payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits
• Maintain payroll records and documentation
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers
• Onboard new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed
• Conduct orientation and training programs for new employees
• Manage employee inquiries and concerns
• Handle disciplinary actions and investigations
• Maintain employee files and records
• Assist with performance management and employee development
• Ensure compliance with applicable benefits laws and regulations
• Assist with various HR projects and initiatives
• Maintain employee databases and records
• Prepare HR reports and analyses
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role with a focus on payroll administration
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
About Company: Kaarwan was formed by a group of architects from IIT Roorkee. We organize educational travel workshops to explore & promote traditional practices and revive indigenous skills.
