We are an early-stage startup with a small team, so you'll be building things from the ground up. This is a paid full-time and in-office position; apply only if you can work for at least 6 months. As we are an edtech startup you might also have to be involved in the course building, supporting & taking the classes.
This is based in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. If you are selected, you'll have to work from one of our offices on MG Road or Indiranagar. You can also apply if you are restarting your career.
Who are we looking for: Human Resources & Admin Manager
General Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated HR professional to join our team as an HR Manager. The HR Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining and supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws.
Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process including the job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference and background checks.
• Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and benefits enrollment.
• Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee relations issues, such as conflicts and complaints, and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Performance Management: Assist in the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
• Compliance: Stay current with labour laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus
• 1-4 years of experience in human resources

• Knowledge of MS Office / Google Drive (Docs), Internet Browsing, Social Networks, Web-based tools, etc...
• Strong research and brainstorming skills are required to produce highly creative and unique content
• Must have a natural flair for writing & be able to deliver content that perfectly works for the Web
• Write exceptional content, original, grammatical-error-free, technically/conceptually authentic
• A strong presence on social media and Experience with social media properties
• Base-level understanding of search engine optimization and keyword usage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Good written and oral communication proficiency in English
• Should be conversant in your regional language and Hindi would be added advantage

Interview process
We don't have a complicated multi-level process like corporates. But we do have 2-3 rounds to filter good talent. 1-2 rounds of online interviews, and one round of In-person interviews. Also, there will be a small writing exercise/assignment component as part of the interview process.
