Human Resources Lead

💰 ₹28,800 - ₹46,080 (Est.) 📍 Bangalore

Job Description

About us:

At Parallel, we believe that craft, impact, and curiosity drive real innovation. We take on high-stakes, high-impact design challenges that shape industries, building digital experiences where creativity meets function and innovation feels effortless.

We started as a boutique studio, and today, we’re leading the charge in product design. From startups and communities like Healthify, Gullak, and The Product Folks, to leaders like Meta, Delhivery, and Pixxel, we help teams turn ideas into products that create lasting change. Across Fintech, Healthcare, Logistics, and Public Infrastructure, we focus on tackling meaningful challenges and creating thoughtful, effective solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.

We move fast, cut through the noise, and focus on what matters - no endless meetings, no bureaucratic bottlenecks, just rapid experimentation, real problem-solving, and pushing boundaries.

At our core, we believe that design has the power to inspire, to connect, and to create lasting impact. Our purpose is to turn great ideas into great products - products that don’t just function, but truly resonate. That happens when talented people collaborate with intention, challenge assumptions, and bring their best thinking to the table every single day.

Why This Role Matters:

At the heart of every high-performing company is a people strategy that’s thoughtful and human. This role will play a critical role in shaping the systems, rituals, and experiences that empower teams to do their best work consistently and sustainably.

This role is about building the connective tissue of Parallel. From onboarding to offboarding, performance to culture, policies to pulse checks - our People Ops Lead will ensure that every touchpoint reflects our values and fuels our growth.

As we scale, the People Ops Lead will be instrumental in ensuring we remain a place where great people thrive, feel seen, and do meaningful work together.

What You’ll Lead at Parallel
• Build an Iconic Culture: Champion a workplace people rave about—joyful, inclusive, high-performing, and distinctly “Parallel.”
• Raise the Talent Bar: Source and hire exceptional talent through creative hiring strategies, thoughtful JD design, and values-driven interviews.
• Own People Ops: Drive HR strategy—from onboarding to compensation, compliance, and policy—with a focus on simplicity, effectiveness, and care.
• Engage, Develop, Retain: Lead team engagement, learning initiatives, and well-being efforts to ensure every team member feels empowered and supported.
• Tell Our Story: Elevate our employer brand through authentic storytelling, talent marketing, and showcasing what makes Parallel a truly aspirational place to work.

Requirements:
• 6+ years of relevant experience, backed by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• A well-loved HR or People-Ops professional with a history of building trust across teams.
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and passionate about enabling others to grow.
• Deep understanding of how to nurture a culture of collaboration, trust, and operational excellence.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a love for structure, whether organizing a workspace or refining a spreadsheet.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate when needed.
• Energetic, adaptable, and eager to take on multiple roles in a dynamic, growing team.
• Familiarity with budgeting and resource planning, paired with a scrappy, solutions-first mindset.
• Demonstrated discretion and reliability when handling confidential matters.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end People Ops functions, from strategy to execution.

Why Work With Us:

If you believe work should be more than just punching the clock, welcome to Parallel.

We’ve built a team of curious, proactive, and driven people who value learning and growth while respecting each other’s unique ways of working. Here, open minds and open communication are as important as the skills we bring to the table.

We embrace flexibility but recognize that some of our best ideas, strongest connections, and most memorable moments happen in person. That’s why we prioritize a hybrid work model - it allows us to balance focused, independent work with the energy and inspiration that come from being together.

If you’re seeking a role where you can lead with purpose, design meaningful experiences, and help people thrive, this is your next step.
