What we are looking for:
You will need to play a pivotal role in driving the key HR initiatives and supporting our fast-growing site in India. This position is based in Hyderabad. You will work and partner with our business and technical teams as well as our Global People Team.
Skills you’ll need:
Being a trusted advisor and strategic partner, you will collaborate with the leadership team and line managers on recruitment, employee performance and development, employee relations, succession planning, compensation, and training
Analyze and review HR statistical reports to identify trends, so that key issues and resources are adjusted accordingly
Pilot consistent HR processes and policies or enhancements that support the business and yet comply with legal and corporate requirements. That means being involved in reviewing and improving a) onboarding & off-boarding processes, b) employee programs, c) medical & other welfare benefits, d) HR-related policies & handbooks, e) compensation & incentive subjects, and f) other topics. Ensure HR team is managing employee data and HR systems effectively and timely.
Collaborate with the global People Team to align global HR strategy and develop best practices and adapt programs locally
Participate as project team member on global HR initiatives in the development, design, and execution of corporate HR programs and projects, including conducting of training and change management
Manage and resolve complex employee relations and employment-related legal issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations
Maintain an improvement agenda and pursue projects focusing on driving engagement and building strong organizational culture, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers, and building leadership capability
Provide HR leadership, including advice and direction on work priorities, HR budget, strategy and policy issues, organization, and management issues
Effectively communicates all initiatives and programs to local stakeholders and external stakeholders globally
Work with the Employee Experience team to create and drive the plans locally for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy, and commitments
Supervise the daily operations of the department and provide constructive and timely performance discussions
Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
8 years or more in HR management with proven experience in managing change, HR integration and/or HR transformation projects in a dynamic environment
Highly effective in business partnering, with a good track record in driving employee relations, talent management, C&B, and TA functions
Strong understanding of employment practices in India and capable of modifying global programs locally
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of the organization both locally & globally
Have previous experience in managing processes for external contractors
Organizational development abilities, including coaching, training, and career development
Experience working for a multinational company and supporting engineering teams
Comfortable in leading both operational and strategic HR, driving initiatives to successful completion
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, employee relations, and conflict management skills
Experience working with Workday
Strong MS Excel experience
