Proven work experience as a HR Manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, power point, teams, outlook etc.)
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, talent management or similar systems
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
Verifiable professional references will be required along with the resume; however, references will be checked/contacted after the interview and before the project starts
Level two background check will be done on the selected candidate for employment, criminal (State & Federal), education, and others as mandated by the client
Responsibilities
Ensures legal compliance throughout human resources management and all company HR policies are applied consistently
Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
Works closely with employees and provides necessary information, resolves issues
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Prepares, reviews and updates policies and practices documents and maintains compliance
Keeps employee handbook updated
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Reviews and coordinates special requests such as reasonable accommodation, FMLA etc
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources and employment law
Addresses specific issues related to health insurances with Insurance company/ broker
Reviews and/or audits, new hire documents, health insurance enrollments, insurance invoices, COBRA enrollments & payments, premium tables etc
Analyzes and recommends renewal health insurance policies
Prepares reports such as employee census, enrollment data, 401(k) enrollment, employee demographics as needed
Prepares and sends mandatory or informative notices (e.g., enrollment notices, annual notices etc.)
Evaluates and processes, UI claims, Worker’s Compensation claims, Wage Garnishment Orders, Employment Verifications requests
Works closely with Senior Managers and assists, helps and/or completes any other task/s, special projects as assigned

Primary Responsibilities:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
• PHR, SHPR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
