ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Human Resources Officer, your key focus will be to:
recruit up to and including the Assistant Manager level
manage Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and sickness counselling meetings
carry out Exit Interviews and Internal Colleague Satisfaction Surveys
carry out the ‘temperature check’ chats with new colleagues or ‘colleagues at risk’
plan, organise and execute Colleague Events (wellbeing, DEI, sports, social, celebrate success and community events)
recognise the ‘moments that matter’ – personal events such as births/marriages/sickness – via REACH (reward and recognition platform) and/or arranging a card/gift as appropriate
assist in the delivery of Hotel Induction and Fire Training and any other training as appropriate
assist and participate in any project work identified as significant in adding value to the business, its colleagues and HR agenda
ABOUT YOU
previous experience in a Human Resources role in hospitality industry
Level 3 CIPD qualification or working towards it
previous experience of recruitment
previous experience of handling disciplinary and grievance situations
strong decision making ability
ability to influence at any level
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
a warm, welcoming and friendly approach
strong desire for own continuous personal development – curios personality and ability to keep abreast of latest HR trends and upcoming Employment Law changes
