Job Summary:
As an HR officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department in various administrative tasks and functions. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, coordinating training programs, and providing general support to HR managers and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: Conduct recruitment activities, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate record-keeping throughout the hiring process.
• Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation sessions, and integration into company culture. Provide support to new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Employee Records Maintenance: Manage and update employee attendance and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrolment processes and address employee inquiries related to benefits. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure timely and accurate communication of benefits information. Training and Development: Coordinate training programs and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication. Maintain training records and assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness.
• Policy and Procedure Compliance: Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Assist in ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for general HR inquiries and provide support to employees on HR-related matters. Escalate more complex issues to HR managers as needed.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and document preparation. Assist in the coordination of HR events and activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a plus
