Job Description
This is a 3 month full-time contract position with potential to extend and/or convert to a permanent role. While a full-time role, part time requests will be absolutely considered for the right applicant.
Your role:
Partnering with senior and people managers provide HR policy guidance, including daily HR guidance on employee relations matters.
Partnering with hiring managers to identify current and future needs in personnel, leading recruitment activities
Assisting with the evolution of Human Resources procedures, guidelines, and tools including review job descriptions.
Oversee onboarding for new hires.
Administration of the Employee Lifecycle HR initiatives, including performance reviews process.
About you:
Tertiary education in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
Demonstrated experience in a HR Generalist role in a busy manufacturing / construction related industry / environment
Ability to make considered decisions with maturity and professionalism.
Protect confidential information and execute all work professionally and with the highest level of discretion.
Work collaboratively with all functions across the business, supporting transparent and open communication
Exhibit service orientation and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in MS Excel, Word and Power point
Fantastic people skills with the ability to prioritise, not to mention a high level of attention to detail
