Job Title: HR Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources operations within an organization. This role involves leading a team and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services and programs. The HR Operations Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• HR Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including employee records management, HRIS administration, payroll processing, benefits administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure the achievement of department goals and objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in regulations or organizational needs.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain HR metrics and reporting systems to track key HR indicators, such as employee turnover, recruitment effectiveness, training and development initiatives, and HR operational efficiency. Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance and Legal Requirements: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal laws. Conduct audits and implement corrective actions to address any compliance issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency. Develop and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• HR Projects and Initiatives: Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as HR system implementations, employee engagement surveys, performance management programs, and talent management strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external HR vendors, such as payroll providers, benefits administrators, and HR software vendors. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Employee Data Privacy and Security: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of employee data and HR systems by implementing appropriate controls and processes. Adhere to data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (X years) in HR operations, HRIS administration, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in HR systems and software, such as HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
