Job Title: Manager (HR Operations, Payroll and Compliance - APAC)

Location: Bangalore

Mode: Hybrid (3 days from the office)

Working Hours: 45 hours weekly (UK Shift)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• HR Operations : Manage the HR systems from hire to retire data management. Identify opportunities to improve the process to bring efficiency and effectiveness in the processes.
• Payroll Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries. Co-ordinating with the payroll vendor on system enhancement. Validate full and final settlements for resigned employees.
• Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Tax and Labour Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies. Co-ordinate with inter-departments to address and resolve compliance related discrepancy.
• Vendor Management : Ensure the services are delivered as per the agreed SLA and timeline from the vendors by optimizing cost and minimize risk
• People Management : proactively ensuring optimal utilization of available resource to support BAU and Global HR projects
• Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee payroll queries and issues promptly and accurately.
• Audits: Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in human resources / MBA.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR Operations hire to retire process, Payroll and compliance (preferably exposure to APAC countries).
• Handled a team of 5 to 10 people for 5 + years in your previous roles.
• Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle –
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, locally and globally.
• Experience in a global (matrix) organization preferred.
• Effective collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and vendor, having exposure to ADP Celergo/Streamline and Money movement concepts.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Implement Agile mythologies and lean six sigma process to bring effective and efficiency into the process.
