Job Description
The HR Professional is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and expertise to the organization. This role encompasses a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, policy development and implementation, and HR program coordination. The HR Professional works closely with employees at all levels and collaborates with management to ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
Conduct job analysis, create job descriptions, and advertise job openings.
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
Employee Relations:
Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and performance issues.
Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback processes.
Assist managers in providing coaching and support to improve employee performance.
Identify training and development needs and facilitate appropriate learning opportunities.
Benefits and Compensation Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Collaborate with external vendors and benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely administration.
Conduct compensation analysis and provide recommendations for salary adjustments and promotions.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Communicate policies to employees and provide guidance on policy interpretation and adherence.
Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance and recommend improvements as needed.
HR Program Coordination:
Coordinate and administer HR programs, such as employee recognition, wellness initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
Prepare HR reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Compliance and Legal:
Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
Participate in HR-related audits and investigations when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Good understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR program coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HRIS software, MS Office Suite, and HR-related tools.
