Overview
The Human Resources Specialist will provide general support to the Human Resources department and assist in implementing and executing Troncalli's recruiting strategy. This is a highly visible role that will work collaboratively with Troncalli’s leaders and interact will all levels of staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating employee onboarding process.
Develop effective sourcing through partnering with local high schools and technical schools, career sites, building a pipeline of talent, and maintaining relationships with applicants
Communicate and assist new hires with benefits enrollment
Provide support during benefits open enrollment as needed
Assist in the management of the 401k plan in partnership with the Human Resources Manager and Accounting Department
Maintain knowledge and compliance of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Responsible for ensuring I-9/E-Verify compliance and completing annual I-9 audits
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including but not limited to employment verifications, maintaining employee records, and termination process.
Essential Skills
Minimum of three years of Human Resources experience with experience in talent acquisition
High School diploma required; bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Strong recruiting sourcing capabilities with experience in interviewing techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with employment labor laws and regulations.
Ability to be flexible and shift priorities when necessary.
