Organizational Development
Support the OD team with the execution of appreciation and recognition events across the Hospital sites during the summer
Assist with the planning and communication of events
Working with the planning committees track progress, actions and activities
Support with the collection, organizing and review of information for events and activities
Assist with the development and organization of learning materials, in both physical and electronic formats
Prepare evaluation forms and other forms to gather metrics on the effectiveness of OD programs
Draft communication materials regarding OD’s programs
Maintain the OD and Leadership Development Program sections of Halton Healthcare’s intranet, Connections, ensuring timely and accurate information
Assist in the roll-out of the Staff Experience Survey for the organization
Assist with OD related projects as required
Other duties as assignment
Qualifications
Must be a current student enrolled in a Human Resources Management, Business program, Events Management or Project Management in a post-secondary institution
Must be returning in September 2026 to full-time studies or required to complete a co-op/internship to fulfill a program requirement
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking/analysis skills are required
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities
Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different tasks
Ability to travel between sites within Halton Region
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Additional Information
Status: Temporary Full-time (Summer Term - May to August)
Site: Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, with travel to other sites as needed (Milton & Georgetown)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hour day shifts; 0800 - 1600, 0+00 - 1700 (Hours are subject to changed based on operational requirements)
Hourly Salary: $17.20- 20.710 per hour
