We are currently recruiting a Human Resource Support Specialist for a renowned luxury designer house known for its exquisite fashion and bridal wear collections in Kolkata.
This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the Lead HRBP in driving daily HR retail operations. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on operational excellence, employee lifecycle management, and contributing to projects available within the HR function.
Experience in international HR operations, especially in New York retail, is a plus.
Job Overview
This position requires a Human Resource Support Specialist to work closely with the Lead HRBP in India and USA support teams.
• Provide comprehensive HR operations support for India and USA teams.
• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, attendance, leave, engagement, and offboarding.
• Support talent acquisition efforts aligned with workforce planning and hiring metrics.
• Maintain HR MIS: update data, generate reports, and deliver actionable insights.
• Assist in Performance Management System operations: goal setting, appraisals, and PIPs.
• Coordinate training programs with L&D; monitor training effectiveness.
• Handle employee grievances confidentially and ensure timely resolution.
• Support Lead HRBP in executing strategies to drive employee satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 2–3 years in HR operations, preferably with exposure to international (especially US) operations.
• Education: MBA from Tier-II institute or equivalent; candidates with strong experience may also apply.
• Industry Preference: Retail, fashion, or other fast-paced environments (not mandatory).
Technical Skills
• Proficient in HRIS systems.
• Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in generating and analyzing MIS reports.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of multitasking and managing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
