Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver purposeful and productive lessons to all students, including at GCSE and A Level and show enthusiasm for your subject in the classroom.
Mark work according to Work Skills Learning’s marking policies, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of student’s progress in their subject.
Be fully aware of and compliant with the requirements of the relevant Examination Boards
Prepare examination entries in line with the deadlines as given by the Examination Boards
Ensure all data is in line with the quality assurance requirements and is gathered throughout the academic year
Develop, maintain and stimulate students’ curiosity, interest and enjoyment in their subject
Enable all students to have equal access to learning and to experience success in their work
Develop students’ familiarity, competence and confidence with appropriate concepts, principles, methods and vocabulary
Provide challenge for every student and encourage all students to achieve their potential
Develop students’ understanding and applications of their subject in its wider context
Make a contribution to and engage in extra-curricular activities (e.g. trips and visits)
