This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Duties
• Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, and ventilation systems according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC equipment, diagnosing issues accurately.
• Weld and fabricate components as needed for installations or repairs.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and building codes during installations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs, system operations, and maintenance tips.
Experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to HVAC installation.
• Skills in plumbing, refrigeration, and property maintenance are advantageous.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment necessary for installation tasks.
• Experience driving a van or vehicle for transporting equipment to job sites is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
