Job Description
An HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They diagnose and troubleshoot problems, ensure optimal system performance, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
Repair: Diagnose and repair faulty HVAC equipment, such as compressors, coils, and thermostats.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve HVAC problems, including leaks, electrical issues, and performance problems.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, explain technical information clearly, and address customer concerns promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
