Job Description
Coordinate and implement hygiene activities and controls across the site.
Develop and maintain cleaning procedures for key equipment and verify effectiveness.
Support pest management actions and chemical control processes.
Coach and train teams on hygiene, GMP practices and food safety compliance.
Assist with audits, cleaning validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production, quality and operations teams to maintain certifications (BRC, WSEP, National Programme).
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to influence and engage teams.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: Bachelor of Food Technology/Science or similar science-based qualification (required).
Experience: 1–2 years in the food industry, preferably with knowledge of baking processes and GMP principles.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on process improvement.
Action-oriented and resilient in managing change.
