Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated IB Japanese tutor to join our growing language tutoring business. The ideal candidate will preferably be a native Japanese speaker residing in Brisbane, but we also welcome international students or individuals on a working-holiday visa with appropriate working rights. Experience teaching or studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is required.
Responsibilities:
Conduct one-to-one in-person tutoring sessions for middle and high school students.
Tailor lessons to the individual needs and goals of each student.
Provide guidance on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Attend training sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality tutoring practices.
Qualifications:
Native-level proficiency in Japanese (preferred), or equivalent fluency.
Native-level proficiency in English (preferred), or equivalent fluency.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work with students of various levels and backgrounds.
Must have working rights in Australia (International students or working holiday visa holders welcome).
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Additional Information:
Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to deliver effective tutoring sessions.
Flexible hours available. Fully remote positions also available.
